The Pearson clan gathers for Kevin and Madison’s wedding on the season finale of This Is Us.
And what a wedding it will be as This Is Us Season 5 Episode 16, “The Adirondacks,” sets the scene for a gorgeous ceremony worthy of Kevin’s celebrity status.
The centrepieces are big, the greenery is lush, and the pastel colour palette has the wedding party practically glowing. But, not even the generous price tag on this venue and the beauty of The Adirondacks can hide the fact that this wedding is far from perfect — and the Pearsons far from joyous.
The question of whether Madison and Kevin will trust each other enough to go through with the wedding is still up in the air. That doesn’t mean this show is not going to use these final hours to put these two lovebirds through the emotional ringer.
However, Kevin and Madison are not the only ones with trouble in paradise.
Deja is still struggling with Malik’s decision to allow his child’s mother back into their lives. Even Tess and Beth will be revisiting the wedge thrown between them earlier in the season.
Toby and Kate may have distanced themselves from all this relationship drama floating around, but they still have plenty of workplace grievances to reckon with as Philip, Kate’s less than enthusiastic co-worker, makes an appearance.
Throw in the fact that this will be the last seasonal finale of This Is Usever, and suddenly you realize just how much chaos will be invited to this family gathering.
The Pearsons don’t do drama halfway, and that alone suggests this wedding will be one for the ages!
