It’s time for part two of Netflix’s series that explores Selena’s life, from her early beginnings to becoming a beloved legend. Selena: The Series Part 2 drops on Netflix on May 4.

A girl group from the ’90s gets a second shot at fame decades later. Girls5eva premieres on Peacock on May 6.

Shrill Final Season (Hulu) – May 7

A breakup turns out to be just what Annie needs to get her life in order. The final season of Shrill premieres on May 7 on Hulu.
Season Description: Season three of Shrill finds Annie (Aidy Bryant) energized by her breakup with dud boyfriend Ryan and her newfound momentum at work. Annie feels like everything is finally falling into place for her, but does she actually know how to get what she wants?
Jupiter’s Legacy (Netflix) – May 7

Netflix’s latest superhero show focuses on the children of superheroes, who are struggling to live up to their parents’ legacy. Jupiter’s Legacy debuts on Netflix on May 7.

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet Season 2 (Apple TV+) – May 7

It’s time for the Mythic Quest group to go back to the office and work on a brand new expansion pack for Raven’s Banquet. It’ll put Ian and Poppy’s new co-director partnership to the test. Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet premieres on May 7 on Apple TV+.
Season Description: With the quarantine finally over, the new season of Mythic Questfinds everyone back in the office (well, almost everyone), attempting to build upon the success of Raven’s Banquet by launching an epic new expansion, but Ian (Rob McElhenney) and the newly promoted co-creative director, Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao), struggle with the game’s direction. The Underground Railroad (Amazon Prime Video) – May 14

Based on the novel by Colson Whitehead, The Underground Railroad follows Cora as she escapes a plantation and searches for a shot at freedom. The Underground Railroad premieres on May 14 on Amazon Prime Video.
Series Description: The Underground Railroad chronicles Cora Randall’s (newcomer Thuso Mbedu) desperate bid for freedom in the antebellum South. After escaping a Georgia plantation for the rumored Underground Railroad, Cora discovers no mere metaphor, but an actual railroad full of engineers and conductors, and a secret network of tracks and tunnels beneath the Southern soil.
High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2 (Disney+) – May 14

Season 2 features a diversion from the High School Musical franchise in an attempt to beat their rival school, North High, in a student theater competition. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Season 2 premiers on Disney+ on May 14.
Season Description: The East High Wildcats, who are preparing to perform “Beauty and the Beast” as their spring musical, face off against rival school North High to win a prestigious and cutthroat student theater competition. Wigs are snatched, loyalties are tested, and ballads are belted.
Trying Season 2 (Apple TV+) – May 21

Nikki and Jason struggle to navigate the process of adopting a child. Trying Season 2 drops on May 21 on Apple TV+.
Season Description: In the eight-episode second season of Trying, Nikki (BAFTA nominee Esther Smith) and Jason (SAG nominee Rafe Spall) are continuing to navigate the adoption process. Having been approved by the adoption panel, they now find that matching with a child is not as straightforward as they had hoped. It seems like children are being snapped up by other couples while somehow they’re being left behind. Army of the Dead (Netflix) – May 21

There’s no better time to pull of a heist than in the middle of a zombie outbreak, right? Army of the Dead debuts on May 21 on Netflix.

Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 (Netflix) – May 28

After one intense cliffhanger, we’re finally going to see what happens after God crashed the fight in the precinct. Lucifer returns with Season 5 Part 2 on May 28 on Netflix.
Season Description: In Part B of the stunning fifth season of Lucifer, God himself comes to Earth. Secrets will be revealed, heroic sacrifices will be made, and the world will never be the same.
Panic (Amazon Prime Video) – May 28

Based on the novels by Lauren Oliver, Panic follows a group of recent high school graduates as the partake in a deadly game in order to change their lives. Panic premieres on May 28 on Amazon Prime Video.
Series Description: It takes place in a small Texas town, where every summer the graduating seniors compete in a series of challenges, winner takes all, which they believe is their one and only chance to escape their circumstances and make their lives better. But this year, the rules have changed — the pot of money is larger than ever and the game has become even more dangerous.
