Zoey is turning the big 3-0 and — in very un-Zoey-like fashion — she’s planning a big shindig to celebrate.
But, a big party isn’t the only thing happening on “Zoey’s Extraordinary Birthday.” The episode also sees the return of the Max-Zoey-Simon love triangle. Only now, it’s a love rectangle. Or is it a pentagon at this point? Anyway, it’s complicated.
Max might not be the only one ready to move on, though. After a few sparks flew on “Zoey’s Extraordinary Memory,” Zoey realizes she isn’t as over Simon as she thought.
If both Max and Zoey have feelings for other people, maybe this isn’t the beginning of love triangle 2.0, rather the end of love triangle 1.0.
Although, if Zoey still has feelings for Simon, she should probably act quickly. Tatiana is still around and certainly seems interested in Simon. Zoey might just miss her shot with both Simon and Max if she can’t make up her mind.
