Zoey is trying to make her relationship with Simon work despite the barrier Simon not knowing about Zoey’s powers creates. An awkward double date with Max is the last thing she wants.
Even with her reticence, though, Zoey agrees to the date when Simon seems excited about the idea.
We can only hope that whatever complications await Zoey and Simon the episode ends with their relationship being stronger rather than blowing up their budding romance.
Elsewhere on “Zoey’s Extraordinary Double Date,” Bernadette Peters is back for a second episode after her casino excursion with Maggie on “Zoey’s Extraordinary Girls’ Night.”
If the preview photos are anything to go by, it looks like there will be more gambling involved. As welcomed as Peters’s presence always is, should we be concerned about Maggie’s new hobby yet?
