Chastain is directly in the path of a tornado on The Resident Season 4 Episode 11, “After The Storm.”
But illness and injuries do not wait for nice weather, so Leela and Devon have to get innovative while treating a head trauma patient when they become trapped.
Cancer also doesn’t take days off. So, Dr. Bell needs Jake and The Raptor to take risks while operating on a young patient.
Plus, Dr. Cain is paired with a new resident. So, that person is probably in for a worse day than everyone else.

Episode description: When a tornado touches down in Atlanta with Chastain directly in its path, the entire staff goes into crisis mode. Conrad and Nic work on an injured EMT and Devon and Leela (guest star Anuja Joshi) become trapped with a man who has severe head trauma, causing them to operate with limited medical supplies. Meanwhile, Bell pulls The Raptor and Dr. Wong (guest star Conrad Ricamora) onto a case involving a young cancer patient in need of a very risky surgery and Cain gets assigned a new resident.
