Preview — Mare of Easttown Season 1 Episode 3: Enter Number Two
Mare confronts Frank on Mare of Easttown Season 1 Episode 3, “Enter Number Two.”
After learning that Dylan isn’t the father of Erin’s baby from Erin’s best friend on Mare of Easttown Season 1 Episode 2, “Fathers,” Laurie talks to Mare about this new development. We can’t tell from the preview if Laurie tells Mare everything, though.
On “Fathers,” Laurie is also told that Erin’s friend believes the real father of her son is Mare’s ex — and Erin’s former teacher — Frank. The preview only shows Laurie telling Mare that Dylan isn’t the father.
The preview also shows an angry confrontation between Mare, Frank, and Siobhan, so it’s a reasonable assumption to make that Mare learns the whole truth. Still, on Mare of Easttown, assuming anything might lead you down the garden path.
The confrontation could also be about what Frank knew regarding Carrie filing for full custody of Drew. Something that leads Mare to have a fight with her mother and a hostile conversation with Carrie.
Do you think Frank is actually the father of Erin’s son? And what do you think Deacon Mark’s connection to the case is?
