This month, the final season of Younger moves to Paramount+, it’s time to cross the fold on Shadow and Bone, Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy team up for Thunder Force, and The Handmaid’s Tale returns for Season 4.

Made for Love (HBO Max) – April 1

Made for Love is a dark comedy that follows one woman as she decides to flee from her husband after learning that he’s planted a device in her brain. Made for Love premieres on April 1 on HBO Max.
Series Description: A woman is on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to a tech billionaire, who has implanted a monitoring device in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her and know her “emotional data” as she tries to regain her independence.
The Serpent (Netflix) — April 2

Inspired by a true story, The Serpent is a crime drama that focuses on a crime spree along the Asian “Hippie Trail” during the 1970s. The Serpent debuts on Netflix on April 2.
Series Description: Posing as a gem dealer, Charles Sobhraj and his girlfriend Marie-Andrée Leclerc (Jenna Coleman) travelled across Thailand, Nepal and India in 1975 and 1976, carrying out a spree of crimes on the Asian ‘Hippie Trail,’ becoming the chief suspects in a series of murders of young Western travellers. When Herman Knippenberg (Billy Howle), a junior diplomat at the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok, unwittingly walks into this intricate web of crime, he – with the help of his spouse Angela (Ellie Bamber), police around the world and witnesses of Sobhraj’s devious manipulation — sets off an extraordinary chain of events that will see Sobhraj become Interpol’s most wanted man, with arrest warrants in multiple continents.
Them (Amazon Prime Video) – April 9

Them is a limited horror anthology series that focuses on terror in America. Them debuts on Amazon Prime Video on April 9.
Series Description: From breakout creator Little Marvin and executive producer Lena Waithe,Them is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The 1950s set first season centers on a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
Thunder Force (Netflix) – April 9

Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer team up in what is sure to be a hilarious film that focuses on two former best friends trying to use their new superpowers to protect their city. Thunder Force premieres on April 9 on Netflix.
Film Description: In a world where supervillains are commonplace, two estranged childhood best friends reunite after one devises a treatment that gives them powers to protect their city.
Younger Season 7 (Paramount+) – April 15
The final season of Younger is debuting on Paramount+ before airing on TVLand later this year. The first four episodes of Younger Season 7 premiere on Paramount+ on April 15 with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
Season Description: In the final season, Liza’s personal life is on shaky ground as she tries to stay true to herself. After a setback at work, Kelsey (Hilary Duff) doubts her career decisions and discovers a new creative outlet. Maggie (Debi Mazar) gets cancelled.
Big Shot (Disney+) – April 16

Coach Korn goes from coaching men’s basketball in the NCAA to coaching the basketball team at an all-girls high school. While the sport may not have changed, everything else about his job did. Big Shot premieres on April 16 on Disney+.
Series Description: After getting ousted from the NCAA, a hothead men’s basketball coach must take a job at an all-girls high school. He soon learns that teenage girls are more than just X’s and O’s; they require empathy and vulnerability — foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn. By learning how to connect with his players, however, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.
Rutherford Falls (Peacock) – April 22

Two best friends, Nathan and Reagan, want to preserve and honor the history in their small town of Rutherford Falls. Rutherford Falls debuts on April 22 on Peacock.
Series Description: Rutherford Falls is a comedy about two lifelong best friends, Nathan Rutherford (Ed Helms) and Reagan Wells (Jana Schmieding), who find themselves at a crossroads — quite literally — when their sleepy town gets an unexpected wakeup call.
Shadow and Bone (Netflix) – April 23

The long-awaited adaption of Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse series is almost here, and it features characters from both the “Shadow and Bone” trilogy and the “Six of Crows” duology. Shadow and Bone premieres on April 23 on Netflix.
Series Description: Shadow and Bone finds us in a war-torn world where lowly soldier and orphan Alina Starkov has just unleashed an extraordinary power that could be the key to setting her country free. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 (Hulu) – April 28
Thankfully, June seems to have survived the wounds she sustained on The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3 Episode 13, “Mayday,” and finds herself on the run again during Season 4. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 premieres on April 28 on Hulu.
Season Description: In the upcoming fourth season of The Handmaid’s Tale, June (Elizabeth Moss) strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges. Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships.
The Mosquito Coast (Apple TV+) – April 30

On the run from the government, Allie Fox and his family flee to Mexico. The Mosquito Coast premieres on Apple TV+ on April 30.
Series Description: Adapted from the best selling novel, The Mosquito Coast is a gripping adventure and layered character drama following the dangerous journey of a radical idealist and brilliant inventor, Allie Fox (Justin Theroux), who uproots his family for Mexico when they suddenly find themselves on the run from the US government.
Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse (Amazon Prime Video) – April 30
Michael B. Jordan stars as Sr. Chief John Kelly in this action-thriller based on Tom Clancy’s 1993 novel. Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse debuts on Amazon Prime Video on April 30.
Film Description: An elite Navy SEAL uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, the explosive origin story of action hero John Clark — one of the most popular characters in author Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe.
