Things are heating up on Riverdale Season 5 Episode 6, “Chapter Eighty-Two: Homecoming,” as the core four join Toni’s quest to save the town, starting with Riverdale High. Betty and Archie are finally exploring the connection they have via some steamy friends with benefits action.
Meanwhile, Veronica is fending off her obsessive husband Chad, who has come to visit Riverdale now that Veronica has accepted a position as a teacher at Riverdale High. Does anyone else feel like Veronica just married a younger version of her dad?
New bestie power duo, Toni and Archie, are set to restart the football and cheer teams, while gently coaxing Cheryl back into society. And Betty is teaming up with Alice and Kevin to investigate what happened to Polly. At the end of last week’s episode, we saw her getting chased down by the same truck that presumably meant the end of Squeaky.
Do you think that Polly is still alive? Who is driving the ghost truck and what is happening to the girls unlucky enough to be in its path? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
