Following her breakup (pause?) with Max, Zoey is determined to choose to be happy on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Season 2 Episode 4, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Employee.”
Zoey is determined to follow Mo’s example and choose to be happy after months of grief over the loss of her father and the realization that she is not emotionally ready to be in a relationship with Max.
Zoey’s Playlistalways excels when it tackles messy feelings like grief or complicates seemingly straightforward emotions like happiness. There is no reason to expect anything less on “Zoey’s Extraordinary Employee.”
While much of the emotional focus is on Zoey’s struggle, it looks like there will be a lot happening outside of that too.
Max and Mo hit their first big bump in their business venture, Maggie’s new client hints at some romantic feelings, and David has to make some decisions about what’s important to him.
We even meet a new face. Perhaps the episode’s titular extraordinary employee? All in all, it’s going to be a busy week for Zoey and the gang.
