Preview — 9-1-1 Season 4 Episode 1: The New Abnormal

When we left the 118, they were dealing with the aftermath of a major train derailment. It’s a new day and a new set of emergencies on 9-1-1 Season 4 Episode 1, “The New Abnormal.”

The big question on everyone’s mind is, how is the 118 dealing with the new pandemic way of life? It’s definitely a major adjustment, but these first responders are handling it well.

Outside of work, there is the matter of Chim and Maddie’s pregnancy. How are the soon to be parents dealing with the stress of upcoming parenthood, as well as their jobs?

When the Hollywood Reservoir dam breaks, not only does the 118 have to worry about dealing with that, but Bobby has to worry about whether or not Athena can handle going back to work just yet.

Her physical and psychological injuries from her attack last season are still very fresh.
