First Look at ‘Loki’
Marvel has released an exclusive first look at eagerly anticipated Loki, along with an official release month!
First announced in 2018, Loki has been on the radar of Marvel fans since the character’s introduction to the MCU in 2011’s Thor. Portrayed by Tom Hiddleston, the trickster god of Asgard has long been a fan-favorite, many of which were ecstatic to hear the series would finally hit Disney+ in May 2021.
Loki has appeared in almost all of the MCU’s Avengers films, working in wily ways as a foil to his brother Thor. His most recent appearance was in Avengers: Endgame, although technically we see him pop up in an extended flashback from the first film. Buckle up because this timeline is about to get tricky!

When Ant-Man and the Hulk travel back in time to 2012 and attempt to distract the guards and recover the Tesseract, they create chaos instead, allowing the trickster to grab ahold of it and escape. It appears as if we’ll pick up exactly after that moment ends!
Or will we? One of the central themes of Loki appears to be “time,” and if there’s anything we’ve gathered from Endgame, it’s that time can be manipulated. Either by choice or by force, it looks like our favorite mischievous Asgardian is about to be off on a very interesting adventure in this crime thriller.
Watch the Trailer for Loki:
With how closely the character Loki is tied to some of the other Avengers, I can’t wait to see what cameos we get in this series. And with hints about how Phase 4 of MCU is exploring the multiverse, I’m excited to see how the series will translate to some of Marvel’s upcoming films.
The series stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius.
How excited are you for Loki to debut on Disney+ this spring? Which character(s) from the MCU do you hope to make a cameo?
