Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of November 15th! We’ll be sharing our picks for what to watch this week, from marathons to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to while stuck inside.

This week’s picks include The Crown taking on Charles/Diana and Margaret Thatcher, LEGO’s Star Wars Holiday Special, Big Sky’s debut, and more.

As the Netflix series continues with British royal history, it’s set to take on one of the more notable eras of the monarchy: Charles and Diana, and the country’s first female Prime Minister. The Crown Season 4 drops Sunday, November 15 on Netflix.

Season Description: As the 1970s are drawing to a close, Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family find themselves preoccupied with safeguarding the line of succession by securing an appropriate bride for Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor), who is still unmarried at 30. As the nation begins to feel the impact of divisive policies introduced by Britain’s first female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson), tensions arise between her and the Queen which only grow worse as Thatcher leads the country into the Falklands War, generating conflict within the Commonwealth. While Charles’ romance with a young Lady Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) provides a much-needed fairytale to unite the British people, behind closed doors, the Royal family is becoming increasingly divided.

The tide is turning against Peter. The question is, will he notice it let alone be able to stop it? Roadkill airs Sunday, November 15 at 9/8c on PBS.

Though their season may be over, Desus and Mero are back with a special tribute to the music and sounds of New York as they transform their studio into an old-school radio station. DMFM: The Home of the Boom Bap premieres Sunday, November 15 at 10/9c on Showtime.

Special Description: Desus Nice and The Kid Mero transform their illustrious studio into an old-school radio station for a one-hour special paying homage to the history of hip hop, both old and new. Featuring special guests Busta Rhymes, Sheila E, City Girls, Juicy J and Cam’ron, along with calls from listeners, the dynamic duo dissect the music and celebrate the culture in a late night love letter to New York.

Lyra continues to be hunted and must find a way to navigate through a strange, new world. His Dark Materials returns Monday, November 16 at 9/8c on HBO.

Episode Description: Lyra and Will find themselves in a strange new place. The Magisterium take action as Mrs Coulter interrogates a suspected heretic witch, and Lee Scoresby embarks on a mission.

LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special – Tuesday, November 17

Star Wars fans get another special reunion in LEGO form as some of the familiar faces across the galaxy come together for the holidays. The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special debuts Tuesday, November 17 on Disney+.

Special Description: The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?

Big Sky – Tuesday, November 17

Kylie Bunbury returns to television in David E. Kelly’s latest drama, following the mysterious disappearance of a pair of sisters in Montana. Two detectives (Bunbury and Ryan Phillippe) team up with a former cop (Kathryn Winnick) to investigate and soon find themselves in the middle of a much larger mystery. Big Sky debuts Tuesday, November 17 at 10/9c on ABC.

Episode Description: While on a road trip to visit her boyfriend in Montana, Danielle Sullivan and her sister Grace are kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote part of the highway, setting off a chain of events that leads private detectives Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell to team up with Cody’s estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for the sisters. But when the investigators discover these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, it’s clear they’ve stumbled onto something much bigger than them all.

I Hate Suzie – Thursday, November 19

Billie Piper’s back with a new limited series that follows the life of Suzie as she deals with the fallout of getting her phone hacked. I Hate Suzie makes its stateside debut Thursday, November 19 on HBO Max.

Series Description: Suzie Pickles has her life upended when she is hacked and pictures of her emerge online in an extremely compromising position. Aided by her best friend and manager, Naomi, Suzie tries to hold her life together.

Animaniacs Season 1 – Friday, November 20

Yakko, Wakko, and Dot are back at it and ready to evade the Warner Bros. security guard, bringing back some familiar faces. Animaniacs Season 1 returns Friday, November 20 on Hulu.

Series Description: They’re back! The Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister Dot, have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet.  After returning to their beloved home, the Warner Bros. water tower, the siblings waste no time in causing chaos and comic confusion as they run loose through the studio, turning the world into their personal playground. Joining Yakko, Wakko and Dot, fan-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain also return to continue their quest for world domination.
