Preview — Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 6: Scavengers

After completing a fateful mission and losing another crewmate on Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 5, “Die Trying,” the U.S.S. Discovery finally finds herself in a relatively stable position on Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 6, “Scavengers.”

But as the past seems to repeat itself when Michael chooses to go on a rogue mission to rescue Book, Saru is left to pick up the pieces and prove to Starfleet that Discovery is a worthy vessel to keep together as it enters a 32nd-century fleet. 

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 6, “Scavengers,” may have not only consequences with Starfleet but our characters as well, as Michael’s decisions could easily put Saru at a disadvantage. Thankfully, it looks like there may be some bonding and heartfelt moments to counteract this, as Stamets appears to bond with not only his husband but Adira as well.

Plus, a retrofit on the Discovery? It appears so with one of the promotional pictures featuring Owosekun testing out a new interface.

Episode description: After receiving a message from Book, Burnham and Georgiou embark on a rogue mission to find him, leaving Saru to pick up the pieces with Admiral Vance. Meanwhile, Stamets forms an unexpected bond with Adira.
