This week’s picks include the (rescheduled) network debut of One Day at a Time, Tell Me a Story returns, Blackpink’s special, and more.
The Spanish Princess – Sunday, October 11

Catherine’s reign continues as the series returns and picks up as an alliance is formed and the tide has not yet turned. The Spanish Princess Part 2 premieres Sunday, October 11 at 8/7c on Starz.

One Day at a Time – Monday, October 12

The Alvarezes are poised to make their network debut on CBS! One Day at a Time airs Monday, October 12 at 9/8c on CBS.

Tell Me a Story – Tuesday, October 13

It’s time for a new set of stories filled with dark secrets, intrigue, and much more as Tell Me a Story returns for a new season. Tell Me a Story Season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 13 at 9/8c on The CW.

Social Distance – Thursday, October 15

Netflix is bringing viewers a very timely series that follows 8 different perspectives of people who are just trying to get through the pandemic and quarantine as life is re-examined, and the toll it takes on everyone is shown. Social Distance drops Thursday, October 15 on Netflix.

Star Trek: Discovery – Thursday, October 15

In the aftermath of the crash landing in the future, with the Federation destroyed, the Discovery crew must find a way to reunite and work towards rebuilding. Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 debuts Thursday, October 15 on CBS All Access.
Someone Has to Die (Alguien Tiene Que Morir) – Friday, October 16

Get transported to the past as this new series dives into the inner workings of a society family as they navigate mystery, love, and the standards imposed on some family members due to their rank in society. Someone Has to Die (Alguien Tiene Que Morir) debuts Friday, October 16 on Netflix.
Series Description: The story of Alguien tiene que morir begins when a young man, after being called by his parents, must return from Mexico to his home to meet his fiancée, but the people are surprised when he returns accompanied by Lazaro, a mysterious ballet dancer. Everything happens in 1950’s Spain, in a conservative and traditional society where appearances and family ties play a key role. Caro shows a new register with this new work, portraying a reality and a social problem from a very different point of view.
What the Constitution Means to Me – Friday, October 16

As Broadway continues to stay shut for the remainder of the year (and a chunk of 2021), streaming services are bringing some shows to the masses, including the 2017 play by Heidi Schreck. What the Constitution Means to Me debuts Friday, October 16 on Prime Video.
Description: What the Constitution Means to Me is a 2017 American play by Heidi Schreck. The play premiered on Broadway on March 31, 2019 at the Hayes Theater, with Schreck herself in the leading role. Over the course of the play, Schreck addresses themes such as women’s rights, immigration, and domestic abuse.
