Preview — Warrior Season 2 Episode 3: Not How We Do Business
On Warrior Season 2 Episode 2, “The Chinese Connection,” Ah Sahm and Young Jun go full steam ahead with their bullheaded plan to find a local supplier, against Father Jun’s express wishes. We also see the return of Miss. Davenport, a rich widow on a one-woman mission to eradicate the sex trafficking of young girls. Officer Lee also sinks deeper into his addiction as his focus on finding the killer swordsmen starts to border on the obsessive.
Penny’s emergence as a thorn in her husband’s side continues to grow as she starts to carve a little space for herself in the top hat-wearing boys club that is the circle of business owners in San Francisco. But all that is being threatened, unbeknownst to her, by the deal she cut with Ah Sahm and the Hop Wei to protect her workers Ah Sahm is now using her factory as a makeshift storehouse for his and Young Jun’s acquired product. Elsewhere, her sister, Sophie continues to grow closer to Leary.
On Warrior Season 2 Episode 3, “Not How We Do Business,” some storylines start coming to a head, none more so than in the case of Bill whose illegal dealings with the multiple Tong factions place his family in the direct line of fire.
Meanwhile, Father Jun has decided to have more men brought over from China to supplement the Hop Wei’s ranks — a decision that makes Young Jun a little apprehensive.

Episode description: With their new enterprise going well, Young Jun (Jason Tobin) shares his worries with Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) about the new men Father Jun (Perry Yung) has brought over from China, and later, the partners are impressed by Hong (Chen Tang), an enthusiastic recruit with a secret. Meanwhile, Chao (Hoon Lee) goes to Mai Ling (Dianne Doan) for help keeping Zing (Dustin Nguyen) away from his business, Sophie (Celine Buckens) grows closer to Leary (Dean Jagger), Nellie’s (Miranda Raison) politics raise questions from her peers, and things take a deadly turn at Bill’s (Kieran Bew) home.
