Preview — The 100 Season 7 Episode 13: Blood Giant

The 100 returns from its hiatus with The 100 Season 7 Episode 13, “Blood Giant.” This episode sees the red sun derail Clarke’s plans. This isn’t the first time Clarke’s plans haven’t gone the way she envisioned, and it’s probably not the last time it’ll happen.

The red sun is just one of many factors contributing to the tremendous tension on Sanctum. It’ll be interesting to see how Clarke crafts new plans during an eclipse, Sheidheda’s autocratic reign, and Cadogan’s visit.

There are only three episodes of The 100 left after “Blood Giant,” so it’s worth celebrating that a significant group of characters will reunite in one place. It may be too optimistic to believe that Bellamy being around so many people that truly know him could pull him back.

It’s also a little disheartening that the characters are still spread out on different planets with only so few episodes left of the series. It’s still unclear where Cadogan sent Clarke’s friends at the end of The 100 Season 7 Episode 12, “The Stranger.”

Keeping that in mind, “Blood Giant” is a major step in the right direction. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there will be much time for emotional reunions. It’s more likely that there’ll be a few awkward and possibly dangerous ones when Disciples, Eligius Prisoners, and Wonkru come face to face.
