When Does ‘The Boys’ Return for Season 2?
Based on the comic created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys returns for its second season on September 4th on Amazon Prime Video.
The Boys picks up as Butcher reels from the revelation that his wife is alive but has been taken hostage by Vought along with the son of his greatest enemy, Homelander. The Boys are on the run from the law, but that doesn’t deter them from attempting to take down the organization that spawned the corrupt Seven.
The stakes are higher than ever as Stormfront (Aya Cash) joins the Seven, attempting to grow the ranks of Vought’s Supes with the perceived threat of Supe-terrorists.

This seems to crack the Seven even farther, as she steals the spotlight, and control, from Homelander. This is not something that keeps her on Homelander’s good side, her presence impeding his attempts to assume complete control over the Seven.
The familiar faces of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominque McElligot, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, Tomer Capon, and Karen Fukuhara all appear to return for the new season.
The Boys also introduces the new faces of Aya Cash (You’re the Worst), Goran Višnjić (Timeless), Claudia Doumit (Timeless), Shawn Ashmore (X-Men, The Rookie), and Patton Oswalt in the second installment.

The Boys Season 2 will consist of eight episodes with the first three episodes dropping on Amazon Prime Video on September 4th and a new episode releasing each following Friday until October 9th.
In addition, The Boys is already renewed for a third season, with Jensen Ackles joining the cast as Solider Boy. So, rest easy and enjoy the new season without the worry of an up-in-the-air renewal.
