Preview — Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 Episode 8: After, Before
Yo-Yo and May take center stage for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 7 Episode 8, “After, Before,” when a malfunctioning time-drive forces the women to turn to an old adversary for help saving their team.
That adversary being none other than Jiaying — leader of the Inhumans, Daisy’s mother, and the main antagonist of Season 2.
Jiaying’s lack of scars suggests the team will revisit a time before her unfortunate run-in with Whitehall, back when Daisy’s mother wasn’t trying to kill every S.H.I.E.L.D. agent in sight.
But a mother-daughter bonding session looks to be out of the question for the time being, what with Daisy nowhere to be found and Yo-Yo desperate to get her powers back as soon as possible.
Unfortunately for Daisy, she’s got bigger things to worried about than the return of her killer mother — like a Quake off with the privileged child of Hydra that just won’t die, Gideon Malik.

Episode description: With the Zephyr’s time drive malfunctioning, the team is quite literally hurling toward disaster and Yo-Yo may be their only hope. The only problem? To get her powers back, she’ll need to enlist the help of an old adversary and revisit part of her past long hidden away.
