Lucifer Renewed for Sixth and Final Season at Netflix
Just a day after the news of when Lucifer Season 5 would premiere on Netflix, the streaming platform announced today that Lucifer has been renewed for a sixth and final season.
The announcement was made on social media, noting that the sixth season would be the “FINAL final” season.
Originally, Lucifer was canceled at FOX after three seasons. Netflix saved the popular series, and its fourth season aired there in 2018.

The first eight episodes of Lucifer Season 5 will be available on Netflix on August 21st. The latter eight episodes will be available at a later date. (Check out the official date announcement video below.)
Lucifer stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer, who resigns his throne in Hell for a life in Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. The series also stars Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlett Estevez, and Rachael Harris.
