Zoey’s got something to tell Max on Zoey’s Extraordinary PlaylistSeason 1 Episode 7, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Confession.”
After the debacle at Simon and Jessica’s engagement party on Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Season 1 Episode 6, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Night Out,” and Max coming through for her like a knight in shining armor when her dad has a medical scare, Zoey might just have caught some feelings for her stalwart friend. But is that the extraordinary confession the episode title is referring to?
By the looks of the episode promo, it would seem not (or at least that’s not the only extraordinary confession we might see). Rather, it looks like the time has come for Zoey to let Max in on her more musical secret.
That would be a huge shift in their relationship and is bound to have some emotional repercussions. After all, Zoey has, unintentionally or not, been listening to Max’s deepest secrets without his consent for months.
Zoey will have to confront some other consequences too, namely the ones that will result from Jessica finding out that Zoey has feelings for her fiancé that aren’t completely unreciprocated.
Even as she’s opening up to the possibility of pursuing something with Max, feelings aren’t things you can just turn off. Regardless of her clarifying moment at the engagement party, we can expect things to be as complicated as ever for our heroine.

Episode description: Zoey is forced to admit some hard truths to Max. Tobin worries his friendship with Leif is on the rocks. Mo struggles to communicate with the new man in his life.
