Preview — Stumptown Season 1 Episode 17: The Dex Files
All season, questions have swirled around Stumptown about the events that led to Benny’s death twelve years ago. On Stumptown Season 1 Episode 17, “The Dex Files” we’ll finally start getting some real answers.
Stumptown Season 1 Episode 16, “All Quiet On The Dextern Front” ends with Dex being told there is more to Benny’s death than she knows, and what she thinks happens might not be the real story.
Now on “The Dex Files,” Dex is looking for answers and digging into the past.
Will the answers Dex finds bring her some much-needed closure or just create more questions to feed her guilt? “The Dex Files” is only the penultimate episode of the season so we likely won’t have all the answers by the end of the hour.
Dex isn’t the only one with a lot on their plate. Miles and Lee go undercover on a case that the preview pictures hint might involve Tookie. That could just as easily be a misdirect but Tookie looks pretty upset in the preview pictures and whoever is making him cry has a lot to answer for.

Episode Description: Dex’s former client Jeremy introduces her to Major Elders who has intel on Benny’s death. Dex, suspicious of the information and looking for answers, investigates a potential cover-up involving Benny’s unit in Afghanistan. Elsewhere, Hoffman and his partner, Lee, work closely on a sting operation which shockingly involves a familiar face. Meanwhile, Grey’s newfound relationship with his father is tested.
