Preview — Stumptown Season 1 Episode 14: Til Dex Do Us Part
She’s going to the chapel but she’s most definitely not gonna get married on Stumptown Season 1 Episode 14, “Til Dex Do Us Part.” Instead, Dex finds herself crashing a wedding as she works a case investigating a suspicious groom and apparent would-be tattoo artist with a shady past.
Elsewhere on “‘Til Dex Do Us Part,’ some of the things introduced or touched on Stumptown Season 1 Episode 13, “The Dex Factor” get a bit of payout as Grey talks business with Tookie, and Miles deals with his father’s involvement defending a suspect in his case.
Grey and Tookie’s conversation is most likely in regards to Ansel’s suggestion that he be the Bad Alibi chef. Hard to say if working for Grey is a step up for him since he owns his own popular food truck, but it would be a win for the Bad Alibi and a huge win for viewers if it means Tookie has more of a presence on the show.
As for Miles and his dad, it’s too soon to know what that story will end up being but it is intriguing. We don’t know much of Grey’s backstory beyond his role as a cop. Getting a little insight into where he came from and how he became the person we see every week should be interesting and a nice change of pace for the character.
Episode description: Dex is hired to investigate a bride’s fiancé after suspicions arise regarding the motives behind the hurried nuptials. Dex asks Hoffman for help with the case and discovers there’s more to this couple than meets the eye. Meanwhile, Hoffman goes head-to-head with his father when he learns that he will be representing a suspect in Hoffman’s case. Back at The Bad Alibi, Tookie and Ansel propose a new business idea to a reluctant Grey.
