Preview — Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 6: Mortal Khanbat
Caity Lotz makes her directorial debut on Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 6, “Mortal Khanbat.”
Lotz’s first time at the helm looks like it will be quite the busy episode too, starting with Ray, Nora, and Gary trying to save Constantine after Astra sped up the progression of lung cancer that was going to kill him in 10 years so that it hit him all at once. Constantine being Constantine, though, has his own ideas about what to do and it probably involves some sort of self-sacrifice to save Astra.
Of course, the Legends are dealing with more than just saving Constantine’s life this week. It wouldn’t be a Legends of Tomorrow episode if anything were ever that simple.
While Ray & Nora try to save their wizard, the rest of the gang have to stop a resurrected Genghis Khan who has somehow made his way to the 1990s. On top of all that, the team learns what has Charlie so spooked, revealing yet another piece of the puzzle to Season 5’s big conflict.
Ava is going to have quite the debrief for Sara when she gets back to the Waverider.

Episode description: With Sara still away from the Waverider, the Legends find a new Encore with Ava’s new invention, the Prognosticator, and must now try to defeat Genghis Khan in 1990s Hong Kong. Constantine’s life is hanging in the balance, and Ray, Nora, and Gary all try to help him, but Constantine tries to make a deal with Astra instead. Meanwhile, Behrad has been confused about Charlie’s recent behavior, but they all learn why Charlie is trying to outrun her past and from what.
