While the cat’s away, the mice will play on Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 5, “A Head of Her Time,” or, more accurately, Sara is called away on business and some classic Legends hijinks ensue.
Well, maybe not classic hijinks exactly since Sara leaves Ava in charge before she leaves. As Ava showed when she was Director of the Time Bureau, she’s not much for hijinks and doesn’t mess around when she’s in charge; she proved as much on Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 4, “Wet Hot American Bummer.”
If anyone is going to keep the Legends from doing something crazy, it’s Ava, but Ava is still trying to find her place on the team and prove she belongs (probably more to herself than anyone else) and that insecurity may just affect her better judgment. But hey, decisions motivated by wanting to impress people never go wrong, right?
“A Head of Her Time” is also either another Nora-centric episode or Nora Darhk is just coincidentally a doppelganger or descendant of Marie Antoinette, who appears to be the latest Encore the team has to face. Whatever the story, as much Courtney Ford on our screens before she exits the show is very welcomed.
Whether it’s hijinks, some time oopsies, or just plain bad luck, the Legends always manage to find trouble when Sara’s away, so get ready.
