Preview — 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 5: Studs
On 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 5, “Studs,” the word “studs” takes on a whole new meaning. All of the emergencies coming up revolve around men or masculinity.
Between a brawl at a male strip club and a protest with lots of toxic male energy, the team has their work cut out for them. That’s not even touching upon the flying canisters of bull semen seen during the fire at the bull semen factory.
9-1-1: Lone Star has been good so far about throwing stereotypical character types out the window. “Studs” appears to be an allegory of that since it is taking on male toxicity head-on.
As a continuation of the issues on 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 1 Episode 4 “Act Of God,” Grace and Judd continue to work on their connection as husband and wife. Plus, now that T.K. knows about Owen’s diagnosis, how will their dynamic change?
