The first part of a Big Three Trilogy welcomes us into Randall’s worst nightmare.
This Is Us Season 4 Episode 11, “A Hell of a Week: Part One,” kicks off a momentous television event with a mental health storyline that has been building since the premiere.
It’s unclear as to whether or not the intruder standing in Randall’s kitchen is, in fact, real. Regardless, I think we can all agree This Is Us just made things a hundred times more terrifying with the direction of this episode — and who doesn’t love that.
It’s been too long since this series reminded us of just how cruel it’s compassionate storytelling can be and with Randall spiralling, what better time to delve into the dark psyche of a person dealing with anxiety than when he needs it most.
I only hope this first part doesn’t cause too much anxiety for those watching.
