Preview — The Magicians Season 5 Episode 1: Do Something Crazy

When one door closes, another one is bound to open and with it comes a rude awakening for our favorite magicians.

The Magicians Season 5 Episode 1, “Do Something Crazy,” begins where we left off in the finale of Season 4: Quentin’s death. The group will have to figure out how to move on without him and deal with their new problem: too much magic.

Eliot and Margo return to Fillory, only to experience a time jump and new ruler of the land.

Meanwhile, Earth faces a new crisis when the magic begins to overflow and cause trouble. With the overflow posing a threat to magic through exposure it’s time for these magicians to get back in the saddle and save the world again.

One thing I’m sure is on everyone’s list of questions: is Julia still a goddess? Or did the death of Quentin simply awaken something else inside of her and that’s why she’s able to harness her powers again?
