Winn Schott makes his long-awaited return on Supergirl Season 5 Episode 11, “Back From the Future – Part One.” Jeremy Jordan, who left the show as a series regular at the end of Season 3, will bring back his beloved character in part one of this two-part story.
The Winn we see on the promos, though, doesn’t seem to be the Winn viewers know, but rather some other version of him, maybe one from another earth who finds his way to Earth-Prime after the events on Arrow, Season 8 Episode 8, “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four”.
The version of Winn we get a preview of is not the cheerful nerd we remember but rather a more cynical version who’s taken on the mantle of his father, the Toymaker, and who Lex seems to need for his plans.
The title of the episode and description suggest we will see our Winn at some point but why and how he comes back, as well as how long he stays, are all questions that will only be answered when the episode airs. Are you excited to see Winn and Jeremy Jordan again?
