Roxy begins to speak out about Nick on Almost Family Season 1 Episode 10, “Courageous AF,” and learns that it’s going to be even more difficult than she thought when someone tries to discredit her story.
In an attempt to save her relationship before it even starts to go bad, Amanda asks Edie to explore her sexuality.
Now that Julia realizes she knows even less about her family than she thought she did, she visits her mom’s cousin who reveals a side of Sarah that Julia never saw.

Episode description: Roxy takes her first steps in speaking out against Nick, but quickly realizes the hardships that come with going public, especially when her rival attempts to discredit her story. Julia, frustrated with the lack of knowledge about her family history, meets up with her mom’s cousin who explains a whole other side to her mom she never knew. Worried she might get cold feet later down the line, Amanda challenges Edie to explore her sexuality.
