This week’s picks include series finales for Madam Secretary and Silicon Valley, Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths”The Expanse‘s return, and more!

The Crisis has begun and the heroes of the Arrowverse are coming together to try and save the Multiverse. Supergirl “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part One” airs Sunday, December 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Harbinger (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) to gather the worlds’ greatest heroes – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Batwoman (guest star Ruby Rose), White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz), The Atom (guest star Brandon Routh) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) – in preparation for the impending Crisis. With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J’onn (David Harewood) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) recruit Lena (Katie McGrath) to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38.

Madam Secretary – Sunday, December 8

It’s time to say goodbye to President McCord in the final hour as she kicks off one last political initiative and celebrates Stevie’s wedding. Madam Secretary airs Sunday, December 8 at 10:30/9:30c on CBS.

Episode Description: President Elizabeth McCord kicks off a new landmark political initiative with help from members of the World Cup Champion U.S. Women’s Soccer team, while Flo Avery (Cicely Tyson), who was born the day women were granted the right to vote, looks on. Opposing the initiative is Senator Amy Ross (Tyne Daley) from Ohio. Also, the McCords overcome last-minute obstacles to pull off a spectacular family celebration with a reunion of familiar faces, that includes a performance by Peter Frampton.

Silicon Valley – Sunday, December 8

It’s the final farewell for the Pied Piper team as they all prepare to celebrate all their hard work with the launch of their product in the hopes that success will follow. Silicon Valley airs Sunday, December 8 at 10/9c on HBO.

Episode Description: Richard and the rest of the Pied Piper team attempt to perform a dazzling act in preparation of the big launch and hope to see their hard work pay off.

The Crisis continues as the threat of the Anti-Monitor and destruction as Bruce Wayne makes his formal Arrowverse debut, and we get to meet Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman and Tom Welling’s Smallville Superman. Batwoman “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two” airs Monday, December 9 at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: The group uses Ray’s (guest star Brandon Routh) invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Iris (guest star Candice Patton), Clark (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch) in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate (Ruby Rose) and Kara (guest star Melissa Benoist) head out to find Bruce Wayne (guest star Kevin Conroy). In addition, Mia (guest star Katherine McNamara) challenges Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Rory (guest star Dominic Purcell) discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) returns.

Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Three – Tuesday, December 10

Black Lightning makes his Arrowverse crossover debut as he joins the heroes to stop the Anti-Monitor as Oliver and Diggle find themselves back in familiar territory. The Flash “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Three” airs Tuesday, December 10 at 8/7c on The CW.

Episode Description: Pariah (Tom Cavanagh) enlists Black Lightning (guest star Cress Williams) to help stop the Anti-Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) after Flash-90 (guest star John Wesley Shipp) shares what he learned from his battle in ‘Elseworlds.’ With the help of Black Lightning, Barry (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) come up with a plan that could save them all. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) has a heart-to-heart with Ryan Choi (guest star Osric Chau), while Oliver (guest star Stephen Amell) and Diggle (guest star David Ramsey) return to an old familiar stomping ground.

Michelle Wolf: Joke Show – Tuesday, December 10

Michelle Wolf is back with another stand up special as she takes on the difference between men and women, gender equality, and more. Michelle Wolf: Joke Show drops Tuesday, December 10 on Netflix.

Description: Comedian Michelle Wolf, wants to fight for women’s equality…but not in like that annoying way. In her upcoming Netflix comedy special, Michelle Wolf: Joke Show, the comedian dissects the differences between men and women, explores gender equality, explains why society should be a little “less” woke and more, all the while, constantly defying expectations.

Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements – Wednesday, December 11

HBO’s latest documentary entry takes viewers into the world of director Irene Taylor Brodsky’s son as he takes on learning Beethoven’s sonata and life. Moonlight Sonata: Deafness in Three Movements debuts Wednesday, December 11 at 9/8c on HBO.
