TNT Releases New ‘Snowpiercer’ Teaser
TNT has offered a new peak at their upcoming adaptation of Snowpiercer at New York Comic-Con.
The one minute animated clip offers background on how the world of Snowpiercer became the way it is. The animation serves as an homage to the graphic novel that started it all.
The world has become a desolate wasteland, precipitated by war and catastrophes on a global scale, leaving human-kind to find new ways to survive.
Snowpiercer is set more than 7 years after the catastrophes and war have done their damage, leaving whatever is left of humanity on a perpetually-moving train. The story follows the lives of those in one specific train car and how they find themselves dealing with continued class warfare and social injustices.
The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, and Sheila Vand.
The sci-fi series made the news recently when it was announced that it will be making the jump from TBS, back to the original network that ordered it, TNT.
Snowpiercer is set to debut on TNT in Spring of 2020.
