12 Things We Hope to See in All American Season 2
10. New Ships Set To Sail

What would All American be without some salacious, fun, overly dramatic romance’s sprouting up at every possible turn?
Olivia and Spencer dropped their potential connection when they found out they may be related. By the time the dust settled, Layla and Spencer were already heating up. That doesn’t change the facts: the bond between Olivia and Spencer was dropped far too quickly.
Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, and all we see is sparks when these two share the screen.
Will it come to fruition in All American Season 2? It seems likely, although Olivia and Asher may also be headed towards a newfound romance.
Olivia and Asher leaned on one another in the last few episodes of All American Season 1, and there’s definite chemistry between them.
There’s also the possibility of Spencer reconnecting with his ex-girlfriend Kia if he returns to South Crenshaw High.
Whichever way it goes, things are bound to get messy, but who doesn’t love a good love triangle? Or is it a rhombus?
11. More Coop And Spencer, Always

There’s not much to say here other than All American Season 2 better deliver even more of Coop and Spencer’s delightful dynamic.
These two aren’t just friends, they’re family. They’re funny together, they support one another, and none of the outside world’s drama even touches the unconditional love they have for each other.
All American does plenty things right, but its biggest triumph may be Coop and Spencer — one of the healthiest male/female friendships ever portrayed on network television.
12. Who Is The Daddy?

The biggest bomb All American Season 1 dropped was the possibility of Bill Baker being Dillon’s biological father.
The twist was a shocking one, especially after the “Billy is Spencer’s father” red herring from earlier episodes.
Billy would certainly add more drama on the Baker’s side of things — the affair alone has caused a significant break within the family. Adding Dillon in the mix would open up an entire Pandora’s box worth of drama and new dynamics.
Corey, while being the less “shocking” reveal, allows All American to keep a bigger presence in South Crenshaw, especially since it feels unlikely that Spencer will leave the Eagles.
If Spencer stays in Beverly Hills and Dillon is truly Billy’s son, what reason would Corey have to stick around?
Dillon being Corey’s child means Corey staying in town and much more South Crenshaw content. Dillon as a Baker would keep us stuck in Beverly Hills.
Which isn’t a bad place to be, per se, but it also isn’t necessarily what makes the show great. The more South Crenshaw, the better, in our book.

What are you hoping to see in Season 2 of All American? Who is Dillon’s biological father? Is there a ship you want to watch rise? Are you looking forward to more South Crenshaw, or would you rather see more Beverly Hills storytelling?
All American Season 2 premieres Monday, October 7th on The CW.
