As it is said at the start of the season, all roads lead to Masada. Preacher Season 4 Episode 9, “Overture,” starts to bring everyone back to the central location.
Now that the Messiah is back in the hands of The Grail and Herr Starr has received his reward, the plan can move forward as discussed. Hitler, Jesus, and Starr take center stage to present their plans for the apocalypse.
Meanwhile, Jesse refuses to let God gave the final word. Along with Tulip and Cassidy, he tries one more desperate attempt to outsmart the almighty.
As all the players align for an all-out war, sweet Eugene finally gets out of prison. But will he actually be free?
