Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! We’ll be sharing our picks of what to watch for the week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include the beginning of the end for PreacherThe 100‘s big battle, GLOW hitting the Vegas strip, and more! 

Here are our recommendations for what to watch on TV this week:

Patriot Act Season 4 – Sunday, August 4

Hasan Minhaj is back with more knowledge to drop on everyone on a variety of subjects on his weekly’s show, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, as it returns Sunday, August 4 on Netflix.

Description: Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj will explore the modern cultural and political landscape with depth and sincerity. Each week, Minhaj will bring his unique comedic voice and storytelling skill to investigate the larger trends shaping our fragmented world.

Preacher – Sunday, August 4

Jesse and company are about to embark on their final mission, as they team up to fight the ultimate villain. Will they be successful? The 2-hour premiere of Preacher‘s final season, airs Sunday, August 4 at 9/8c on AMC.

Episode Description: Jesse is rocked by visions of an apocalyptic future as he and Tulip prepare for an all-out assault on Masada, where Cassidy — trapped to a torturous fate — struggles to hang on; Starr and his Grail operatives are ready for them; God maneuvers the chess pieces of His apocalypse closer to the endgame as Jesse searches for a mysterious rock formation that may be the final leg of his journey; Tulip devises a last-ditch effort to save Cassidy from his endless torture.

Claws – Sunday, August 4

With only 2 episodes left, Desna and the Palmetto crew have to find a way to deal with the Professor, the triad, and the mounting threats to their crew. Will they be able to make it or will there be more collateral damage? Claws airs Sunday, August 4 at 9/8c on TNT and TBS.

Episode Description:  Desna and the crew tie up loose ends for the Triads; guilt pushes Toby to do the unexpected, putting everyone in jeopardy.

The 100 – Tuesday, August 6

With so much lost and tensions substantially raised, Clarke and the others must fight against the Primes for any chance at surviving Sanctum. Who won’t make it out of the battle and who will? The 100 season finale airs Tuesday, August 6 at 9/8c on The CW.

Episode Description: Sanctum becomes a battleground between the devout and the non-believers; the mystery of the anomaly deepens.

The summer finale is upon us as Mariana learns more about what happened to Amanda, and Callie decides to make a change.

Fox is getting the Beverly Hills High crew back together in a meta reboot that will see most of the original cast coming together with the idea to reboot the popular teen drama. BH 90210 debuts Wednesday, August 7 at 9/8c on FOX.

Description: When the cast gets back together, it will come with a big twist: the seven former teen idols will be playing heightened versions of themselves in the brand-new serialized drama – with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other. Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Shannen, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian, and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a “Beverly Hills, 90210” reboot up and running. But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?

Chasing the Cure – Thursday, August 8

TNT’s latest reality TV entry will find the audience becoming medical troubleshooters as Chasing the Cure finds a group of patients who have suffered from undiagnosed or misdiagnosed ailments, joining the medical experts and accredited doctors that the series has recruited. Chasing the Cure debuts Thursday, August 8 at 9/8c on TNT.

Episode Description: Highly accredited doctors share their experiences, advice, and recommendations along with those of the online community to help patients who are suffering from undiagnosed, misdiagnosed, or uncured medical mysteries.

Two Sentence Horror Stories – Thursday, August 8

The CW is getting into the horror anthology game as the network brings all of our worst nightmares to the small screen in Two Sentence Horror Stories which will debut Thursday, August 8 at 9/8c.

Episode Description: A serial killer with an obsession for single moms stalks a young mother who rejected him.

GLOW Season 3– Friday, August 9

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are back with a whole new season of their stories and more wrestling, this time from Las Vegas. How will it go for the ladies? GLOW Season 3 drops Friday, August 9 on Netflix.

Description: Season 3 follows the ladies of GLOW as they take the Vegas strip by storm. Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth’s passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie is making headway as a producer but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling – Friday, August 9

For those ‘90s kids out there, this may be one of those specials that will hit you right in the nostalgia as Rocko and friends return after spending 2 decades in space.
