Danny McBride is back with a comedy that follows an Evangelist family as they deal with blackmailers and the wild world of televangelism. The Righteous Gemstones debut Sunday, August 18 at 10/9c on HBO.

Episode Description: After returning from a baptism marathon in China with his father and brother, Jesse Gemstone receives a video from blackmailers looking to ruin his reputation.

City on a Hill ­– Sunday, August 18

It all comes down to the final episode of the season as Decourcey makes his final play to clean things up in Boston. Will he succeed? The City on a Hill finale airs Sunday, August 18 at 9/8c on Showtime.

Sweetbitter – Sunday, August 18

After a rapid-pace run this summer, Tess and company are faced with new challenges to face. Will it divide them or keep them together? The one-hour Sweetbitter finale airs Sunday, August 18 at 9/8c on Starz.

Episode Description: Tess and Jake take their relationship to the next level, causing tension with Simone. Ari feels abandoned. Will uses his power for a questionable purpose.

I Ship It – Monday, August 19

The CW is bringing a musical comedy to serve as a bookend to their summer program with I Ship It. The series, which initially debuted on The CW Seed, follows Ella, a fangirl that winds up getting a production assistant job on her favorite show. I Ship It airs Monday, August 19 at 9:30/8:30c on The CW.

Episode Description: Ella (Helen Highfield) is a fangirl and aspiring writer. While working at a boutique shipping agency, Ella writes fanfiction for her favorite TV show, “Superstition,” and dreams of one day making her fantasies a reality. She works with her boyfriend, the charming yet albeit-vanilla Tim (Riley Neldam), and lives next door to him with her best friend Winnie (guest star Jazz Raycole). One fateful day, Ella’s actress friend Sasha (Yasmine Al-Bustami) places a flower delivery order to the showrunner of “Superstition” and Ella seizes the opportunity to not only make the delivery but to visit the set of her favorite show resulting in Ella throwing caution to the wind and quitting her job to become a writer’s PA on “Superstition.” Her fangirl fantasies being to collide with reality in unexpected ways, in both her creative life and love life.

Pose – Tuesday, August 20

It’s been a tumultuous season for Blanca and her children, but she is committed to reassemble her house. Will she be successful? The Pose season finale airs Tuesday, August 20 at 10/9c on FX.

Episode Description: After a medical setback, Blanca struggles to reassemble the House of Evangelista; Pray Tell confronts old traumas when an exciting new category is proposed.

Alternatino – Tuesday, August 20

Arturo Castro’s sketch show comes to an end for the season with a few more sketches to hold us over. The season finale for Alternatino airs Tuesday, August 20 at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central.

Episode Description: An offhand comment during an interview lands Arturo in a pickle; Netflix faces an emergency; an FBI sting goes wrong.

Ghost Hunters Wednesday, August 21

After a very long time away, Grant and a new team of hunters are back to investigate the paranormal. Ghost Hunters makes its network debut on Wednesday, August 21 at 9/8c on A&E.

This Way Up – Wednesday, August 21

Hulu is bringing Sharon Horgan back with a British series that follows a woman navigating life. This Way Up premieres Wednesday, August 21 on Hulu.

Series Description: Aine and Richard’s relationship gets complicated when she is inadvertently invited for dinner but leaves early after an awkward misunderstanding. Aine then concocts a lie to spend the weekend with her sister.

Baskets – Thursday, August 22

It’s time to say goodbye to the Baskets family as Baskets signs off for the last time. The series finale of Baskets airs Thursday, August 22 at 10/9c on FX.

Episode Description: Martha removes her cast.
