Stephen Amell has his first post-Arrow role!

The Arrow leading man will be hanging up his hood and heading for a ring.

TV Line is reporting that Amell will be joining the Starz wrestling drama, Heels. The 8-episode drama follows the lives of a pair of brothers who run a wrestling promotions company in a small Georgia town. But when their late father’s legacy is up for grabs, the brothers face off for a stake.

Amell will play Jack, a wrestler who plays the “charismatic villain”—heel—inside of the ring. Outside of the ring, he’s the owner of Duffy Wrestling association, who is working hard to keep it that way.

Jack is described as having “the mind of an artist in the body of a warrior, and a Steve Jobs-ian need for perfection — and for control.”

More recently, he appeared at an All In event in a singles match last September.

Former Community writer, Michael Waldron wrote the pilot and will serve as executive producer alongside showrunner, Survivor’s Remorse’s Mike O’Malley, Julie Yorn, Patrick Walmsley, and Chris Donnelly.

Arrow returns for its final 10-episode run Tuesday, October 15th at 9/8c on The CW.
