Preview — Preacher Season 4 Premiere: Masada / Last Supper (Season 4 Episodes 1 and 2)

As we head into the final chapter of Preacher, the show gets more chaotic than ever before. On Preacher Season 4 Episode 1, “Masada,” the gang is back and ready to free Cassidy from his current predicament. 

This mission isn’t without its complications as Starr and the Grail are still very much interested in taking down Jesse. They turn out to be a formidable foe for Jesse and Tulip as they head into the second half of our two-hour premiere.

On Preacher, Season 4 Episode 2, “Last Supper,” God joins the fray in order to put things into place for the coming apocalypse. Jesse and Tulip have decided to divide and conquer when it comes to their enemies and freeing Cassidy.

It’ll be interesting to see how all of this plays out considering how up in the air the friendship between Cassidy and Jesse was at the end of last season. Let’s hope that by rescuing Cassidy, Jesse can start to repair that bond. 

From the looks of it, the end is nigh. It’s a result that has been written on the wall since Season 1, and quite frankly it’s going to make for a stellar final season — if executed correctly.

“Masada” Episode Description: Jesse is rocked by visions of an apocalyptic future as he and Tulip prepare for an all-out assault on Masada, where Cassidy – trapped to a torturous fate – struggles to hang on. But Starr and his Grail operatives are ready for them.

“Last Supper” Episode Description: God maneuvers the chess pieces of His apocalypse closer to the endgame as Jesse searches for a mysterious rock formation that may be the final leg of his journey. Tulip devises a last-ditch effort to save Cassidy from his torture.
