Preview — The InBetween Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot
NBC has a new show for believers of all kinds — whether you believe in psychics, ghosts or just plain justice.
On The InBetween Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” we meet Cassie (Harriet Dyer), a psychic/medium bartender who helps her father solve murder cases that would otherwise be a mystery.
Her first case of the series is one her dad Detective Tom Hackett (Paul Blackthorne) has been working on for a while with no promising leads. When the deceased woman’s body is found, police have more questions than answers.
The whole timeline of the murder is uncertain and Cassie has to convince Hackett’s new partner Damien Asante (Justin Cornwell) that her abilities are real — and that the key to solving this murder involves Peter Rabbit.
Helping solve murders is just part of Cassie’s day’s work.
Before she can serve drinks to thirsty bar patrons for money, she has to help a young girl come to terms with her own death.
