Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! We’ll be sharing our picks of what to watch for the week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include Game of Thrones’ beginning of the end, The Magicians finale, and a new Netflix rom-com, to name a few.

Here are our recommendations for what to watch on TV this week:

God Friended Me – Sunday, April 14

The God Friended Me finale is upon us. Does that mean that Miles and his friends will finally accomplish their search for the person behind the God account? Tune in to the God Friended Me Season 1 finale on Sunday, April 14 at 8/7c on CBS.

Winter is here on the last Game of Thrones premiere of the series and is heading to Winterfell as the Starks each have their own idea on how to defeat the White Walker army. Game of Thrones returns Sunday, April 14 at 9/8c on HBO.

Episode Description: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen attempt to defeat the Night King and his White Walker army at Winterfell, where they encounter Sansa and Arya Stark already reunited and preparing the North for one final war against the undead horde.

Arrow is back and debuting its new time slot as the ladies take over the hour, with Earth-2 Laurel’s murder-y past revealed, she becomes the public’s new target. But Felicity isn’t ready to give up on her just yet? Will they be able to save her? Arrow returns Monday, April 15 at 9/8c on The CW.

Episode Description: After being accused of murder and having her criminal past exposed, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) goes full Black Siren and teams up with an old criminal acquaintance, Shadow Thief (guest star Carmel Amit), to go on a crime spree around Star City. While Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) aims to bring Laurel in, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to give up on her friend and tries everything to get through to her, even summoning Sara Lance (guest star Caity Lotz) for help. However, Laurel rebuffs all her efforts, forcing the former friends to face off against each other. 

Bless This Mess – Tuesday, April 16

ABC’s latest comedy stars Lake Bell and Dax Shepard as newlyweds making a move from the busy city to the slower-paced country. But they soon find out that the life they thought they’d find out there isn’t quite the one they had in mind. Bless This Mess premieres Tuesday, April 16 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.

Episode Description: Newlyweds Rio and Mike drop everything to make the move from New York to rural Nebraska in search of a simpler life, but they quickly realize that becoming farmers isn’t as easy as they had hoped.

There’s a potential terrorist threat and Nolan, and Bishop join the team investigating the murder of the victim tied to it. Will everyone make it out alive? Check out The Rookie Season 1 finale on Tuesday, April 16 at 10/9c on ABC.

Episode Description: As the rookies prepare for a big exam to see who moves on to the next stage of training, Nolan and Bishop are called to the scene of a murder and learn that the victim may be tied to a potential terrorist attack on the city of Los Angeles.

The Magicians – Wednesday, April 17

It’s been a wild ride for The Magicians this season, from temporary amnesia to demon possessions. Now it’s time for the final battle to save each other. Who will make it out of Season 4 alive? Check out The Magicians season finale on Wednesday, April 17 at 9/8c on Syfy.

Netflix’s latest movie Someone Great, tells Jenny’s story as she navigates her way through her last days in New York City, going on more adventure with her friends. Someone Great drops Friday, April 19 on Netflix.

Description: Aspiring music journalist Jenny (Gina Rodriguez) has just landed her dream job at an iconic magazine and is about to move to San Francisco. Rather than do long distance, her boyfriend of nine years (Lakeith Stanfield) decides to call it quits.
