Heroes and Villains Fan Fest/Walker Stalker Con Chicago 2019 Preview: The Flash, Arrow, The Walking Dead, and More
If you are the family member responsible for all the Easter shopping in your household, then stop whatever you are doing and head directly to the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest site immediately.
I repeat, drop the marshmallow eggs and chocolate bunnies. Put back the ten pound ham that will go bad before you even finish it, and tell Aunt Bertha that Easter is taking a road trip this year. I mean, who needs the Easter Bunny when you have celebrities?

That’s right folks, April 19th through the 21st — Easter weekend — many of our favorite television celebrities will be once again coming to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago for Heroes and Villains Fan Fest/Walker Stalker Con. That means you don’t have to sit around the same old table, hearing the same old stories from Grandpa Hank, while he hacks away at those stale biscuits with his nasty dentures.
Instead, you will be able to meet some of television’s top stars, including Tom Cavanagh (The Flash), Katherine McNamara (Arrow, Shadowhunters), and Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow).
Just think, you can ask Juliana Harkavy (Arrow) what it feels like to play such an iconic character like Black Canary. Or you can tell Danielle Panabaker (The Flash) your thoughts on Killer Frost being a part of Team Flash. I suggest you tread lightly though — just in case she is in a “frosty” mood.

Of course, the fun doesn’t just stop at the Arrowverse shows. Also attending will be Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Garret Dillahunt (The Gifted), and Donal Logue (Gotham) to name a few. Hopefully everyone will stay peaceful, or else this could really become a true “battle of the networks.”
Several actors from the Netflix exclusive, The Haunting of Hill House, will be happy to hear about the thousands of nightmares they gave you over the last several months. If you approach Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House) or Violet McGraw (The Haunting of Hill House), stray away from too many gory details. They’re children for crying out loud!
If the sound of all these amazing actors and actresses aren’t enough to get you excited, then it is about time I mention the one and only — The Walking Dead!

Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead), Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead), and other previous stars of The Walking Dead are scheduled to meet and greet everyone in attendance. I’m sure it will be nice for some of you to know that these people are still alive and well after their stellar performances on the show. Psst….they really didn’t become zombie poop.
These stars and so many more will be available for professional photos, autographs, and some will even allow table-side selfies. And when you run low on cash, there will be plenty of panels to fill the rest of your weekend with.
Usually, these panels revolve around the attending cast of whatever show they represent, i.e. The Flash, Arrow, Fear the Walking Dead, etc. With so many shows being represented here, there are sure to be a few that will tickle your fancy.
These panels can give you the inside scoop of what happens off-screen and in-between takes. Often, they can get quite hilarious and occasionally heartfelt. Either way, they always seem to entertain.

However you choose to spend the hours at this convention, I guarantee your time will not be wasted. Memories will be made — and probably better ones than the fights that break out during the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
So make this an Easter your family won’t ever forget, by taking them to an event like no other. Start a new tradition with zombies, superheroes, celebrities, and many more surprises waiting to unfold.
