Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV! We’ll be sharing our picks of what to watch for the week, from new specials to big guest spots, and significant episodes of TV to look forward to.

This week’s picks include the Pierce family’s face off against Tobias, NBC’s latest family drama debut, the return of 9-1-1, and more.

Here are a few recommendations for what to watch on TV this week:

We head to the future and get a few more answers on Arrow Season 7 Episode 16, “Star City 2040.” We’re also getting a look at OTA’s children out on a mission in the Glades. What will they find? Arrow airs Monday, March 18 at 8/7c on the CW.

After a lengthy hiatus, 9-1-1 is back with its midseason premiere on Monday, March 18th at 9/8c on FOX. The promo for the episode is ominous, and a bit shocking — only on 9-1-1 will you see a shark attack on the freeway! 

Episode description: Bobby meets Athena’s parents. Maddie’s husband insinuates himself deeper into Chimney’s life. A tanker carrying a tiger shark crashes on the freeway. A gas leak in a plastic surgeon’s office happens mid-surgery.

The Pierce family faces off against Tobias in the hopes of not only saving their city but keeping their family alive and together. Will they succeed or will they find their own personal obstacles are too significant to get past? Black Lightning airs Monday, March 18 at 9/8c on the CW.

The Fix – Monday, March 18

ABC’s The Fix, from Marcia Clark, tells the story of, Maya Travis, an LA district attorney that moves to Washington after dealing with a devastating loss. But when the person connected to the case she lost commits another murder, Travis returns to her former job for a second chance. The Fix premieres Monday, March 18 at 10/9c on ABC.

Episode Description: L.A. district attorney Maya Travis suffers a devastating defeat after prosecuting an A-list movie star for double murder. With her high-profile career derailed, she flees for a quieter life in rural Washington. The Village – Tuesday, March 19

NBC is adding another family drama with The Village, which tells the story of a building’s tenants that come together as a found family and work to stay together. The Village premieres Tuesday, March 19 at 10/9c on NBC.

The Act – Wednesday, March 20

Hulu is bringing the true crime story of a teenaged girl trapped in a toxic family dynamic with The ActThe first season of the anthology series tells us the story of Gypsy and her mother Dee Dee, their manipulative relationship, and the murder it ends with. The Act Season 1 drops on Wednesday, March 20 on Hulu.

Episode Description: Doting mother Dee Dee Blanchard and her sweet daughter Gypsy arrive in a new neighborhood, where Gypsy feels lonely due to a barrage of medical issues, but their new neighbors can be nosy, and Dee Dee and Gypsy have secrets to hide.

Deadly Class – Wednesday, March 20

The kids of King’s Dominion take the fight to Chester as they set out to do what they’ve been trained to do while Lin fights to save his family. Deadly Class airs Wednesday, March 20 at 10/9c on Syfy.

Episode Description: The heroes raid Chester manor; across town, Lin runs from El Diablo with his daughter.
