Preview — This Is Us Season 3 Episode 17: R & B
This Is Us Season 3 Episode 17, “R & B,” wins the award for the most clever episode title.
But this episode will have to be a lot more than clever to win us over with the idea of a Randall and Beth origin episode given the couple’s current state.
If this were last season the prospect of going back to the beginning with one of the most adorable couples on television would be one to get excited about.
However, lately it feels like these two are not only running their precious favourite couple title into the ground, but they are running us in circles with passionless, tasteless, and not to mention repetitive arguments. Even when Randal and Beth fought in the past, there was always reasonable cause for their frustrations — but now, not so much.
Here’s to hoping “R & B,” does a better job of showing the severity of the cracks in their marriage while allowing us to enjoy these characters again with some cute redeemable flashbacks.
