Preview — The Resident Season 2 Episode 18: Emergency Contact
Dress your best, because we are about to meet a lot of new family members on The Resident Season 2 Episode 18 “Emergency Contact.”
It’s now the post-Quovadis/Gordon Page era at Chastain memorial hospital and it seems like everyone is starting new. Conrad’s dad is now on the board of the hospital and apparently in charge of a medical device company
Jessie is out of rehab and brings a guest with her to visit Nic. It’s their father Kyle, and considering we don’t remember ever hearing anything about him, our guess is the reunion is unwelcome.
Kit Voss’s return is very welcome, however. But her circumstances could be better. She needs help from Dr. Bell when her ex-husband needs emergency surgery.
Also, Julian Booth is alive but it must not be a big deal because she’s giving a speech in the promo video below. Well, that was anti-climactic. In a way, Devon is about to get a new beginning too, or at least some answers.
Hopefully, this episode is like a big deep cleansing breath for most characters and viewers. We all definitely deserve a week of recovery time after surviving Quovadis.
Episode description: Chastain picks up the pieces after the fall out with the corrupt medical device company Quovadis, leaving Marshall ready to charter new territory in the medical field, and Devon to finally discover the truth about what happened to Julian Booth (guest star Jenna Dewan).
