New Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 9, “As Long As It Takes,” promises to be an emotional fall finale. But who was expecting anything else?
The recipient of Max’s sister’s heart comes to the hospital with complications, perhaps becoming the patient Max is most emotionally involved with thus far in the series. After watching New Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 8, “Three Dots,” we all know how risky doctors acting on emotions with patients can be.
Max is also trying to convince Sharpe to allow him to treat his cancer with a method she doesn’t recommend. Meanwhile, Dr. Kapoor finds his new relationship with his son tested more than ever, as he considers helping him in a big way.
