Preview — Reverie Season 1 Episode 7: The Black Mandala

Previews, Reverie

Mara explores the world of dark reveries this week on Reverie Season 1 Episode 7, “The Black Mandala,” which will expose her (and viewers) to some of the sketchier aspects of this technology.

The idea that a certain segment of users might want to use reveries to engage in some certain…illicit or illegal activities makes sense.

If humanity ever gets the opportunity to truly run wild in a consequence-free virtual or artificial environment, it seems obvious that some people would take things too far. (It’s pretty much why Westworld exists, right?)

Reverie has mentioned these dark reveries in passing before, but “The Black Mandela” will mark the first time the show explores the idea in-depth.
