Preview — Reverie Season 1 Episode 6: Pas de Deux

Previews, Reverie

Things seem to take a turn for the decidedly sentimental on Reverie Season 1 Episode 6, “Pas de Deux”. Mara must not only save a young dancer in despair, she has to deal with her ex at the same time.

After several weeks of distinctly less emotional reveries — from a terrorist attack to a man plotting a crime (sort of) — it looks like we’re back to the sorts of visions represented in the pilot. (A dancer can never walk again, etc.)

Will this shift feel like a step backward for the show? We’ll have to wait and see.

On the plus side, it appears we’ll learn more about Mara’s past beyond her the tragic murders of her sister and niece. Will the introduction of an ex-boyfriend finally get the show to acknowledge the rampant flirting between Mara and Paul? We (or at least I) can dream.

Episode Description: Mara tries to save a young dancer whose recent tragedy has sent her spiraling into deep despair. The case leads Mara to a surprising reunion with Chris, the love she left when her life fell apart.
