24 TV Couples Killing it at Marriage
16. Jesse and Becky, Full House and Fuller House

Jesse and Becky agreed on next to nothing when they first met, except how much they liked each other. The wild rock and roller and the straight-laced television anchor worked hard at communication and compromise. They genuinely showed us how to work through problems in a marriage.
And they are still going strong – 25 years and counting!
Jesse: Becky, you’re everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more than I deserve. I love you now and I love you forever.
Becky: Jesse, I am the luckiest woman on earth. I love spending every day with you. I love laughing with you. I love loving you. Thank you for the most incredible 25 years of my life.
15. Castle and Beckett, Castle

The murder mystery writer married the homicide cop. It really couldn’t get any more perfect than Castle’s Kate Beckett and Richard Castle.
That’s not to say it was an easy road once they were married. Beckett “left” Castle to pursue her mother’s killer once and for all. Luckily, it only lasted five episodes and we ended the series with Kate and Rick running after little Caskett babies in their home.
Sometimes our partners are mysteries, but part of the fun of marriage is puzzling it out together.
Beckett: The moment that I met you, my life became extraordinary. You taught me to be my best self, to look forward to tomorrow’s adventure. When I was vulnerable, you were strong. I love you, Richard Castle and I want to live my life in the warmth of your smile and the strength of your embrace. I promise you I will love you. I will be your friend and your partner in crime and in life. Always.
Castle: The moment we met, my life became extraordinary. You taught me more about myself than I knew there was to learn. You are the joy in my heart. You’re the last person I want to see when I close my eyes. I love you, Katherine Beckett, and the mystery of you is the one I want to spend the rest of my life exploring. I promises to love you and be your friend and your partner in crime and life till death do us part — and for the time of our lives.
14. Jim and Pam, The Office

Jim and Pam from The Office were often the steady center of the wildly insane hijacks of the Dunder Mifflin office. That’s not to say Jim and Pam did not struggle. Their marriage became strained due to distance and a fight over a missed recital was one time this fictional reality TV show felt very real.
We can lose sight of one another and it’s important to tell our partner how much we love them, particularly during the difficult times.
Pam: What’s that?
Jim: It’s from the teapot. Everything you’ll ever need to know is in that. Not enough for me? You are everything to me.
13. Mitchell and Cameron, Modern Family

A perfect example of opposites attracts. Mitchell and Cameron bicker their way through marriage, but never lose their sense of humor.
Cam: My dream for him is that one day, he’ll be on the Supreme Court.
Mitchell: Why, Cam?
Cam: So at parties I can tell people my partner is one of the Supremes.
12. Booth and Brennan, Bones

Booth taught Brennan about life beyond science and Brennan confirmed every belief Booth had about love. They taught us differences can be strengths. Even if you start worlds apart, you can find common ground in your love for each other.
Brennan: You believe that love is transcendent and eternal. I want to believe that too.
Booth: Hey, you will. I promise. Someday you will. Someday, okay. You will.
11. Adam and Kristina, Parenthood

It’s really difficult to pick from the couples on Parenthood because they were all amazing in their own unique way (I’ll always love you Joel). However, Adam and Kristina were just another level. They faced a many substantial challenges like their son’s Aspergers or Kristina’s cancer diagnosis.
However, they always found of way of turning their challenges into opportunities like opening a school for Max. Their most difficult moments in life made Kristina and Adam better people and a stronger couple.
Adam: Listen, if I gotta be stuck in the mud, I wanna be stuck in the mud with you.
Kristina: Well you’re stuck.
10. Marshall and Lily, How I Met Your Mother

Sure, we all wanted to meet the mother, but Marshall and Lily were the romantic heart and soul of How I Met Your Mother. They maintained their sweet quirkiness through it all, but it’s the dramatic moments like Marshall’s dad dying and Lily’s identity crisis after becoming a mother that are true standouts. Lily and Marshall made each other laugh, but they were pillars of strength for one another when times were tough too.
Marshall: I vow to keep updating our vows as we go, because one set of vows can’t cover a lifetime of growing and changing with you, raising children with you, and falling more and more in love with you every day, which is what I vow to do for the rest of my life.
9. Nathan and Hayley, One Tree Hill

Nathan and Hayley learned how to help one another achieve their dreams by not losing sight of who they were as individuals.
Hayley was Nathan’s loudest cheerleader throughout his long journey to the NBA. Nathan was the first person Hayley sang to in Karen’s Cafe. He gave Hayley the confidence and courage to perform.
Yes, there were missteps, but Nathan and Hayley learned from their mistakes and became stronger individuals, which made them a stronger couple.
Haley: Nathan it’s been said that there is one word that will free us from the weight and pain of life. And that word is love, and I believe that. It doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been hard or that it won’t be. It just means that I found a stillness and bravery in myself with you. You make me brave and I will love you until the end of time. This I vow today.
Nathan: Last year we stood on a beach and I told you how much I loved you and how I would always, always protect you. And that day nobody believed that this would work. But I don’t think anybody understood the love I had for you because if they did they never would have doubted us. So I wanted to marry you all over again in front of most of the world. Because today, when I look into your eyes my love for you only grows. Its even stronger now and that love will never waver. This I vow to you today and always, forever.
