Looks pretty threatening, doesn’t it?
Charlie Brooker’s sci-fi show has garnered critical acclaim and has won two Emmy Awards for its Season 3 episode, “San Junipero,” which focused on a love story between two women in the 1980s.
The anthology has been praised for its commentary on how our reliance on technology has created a modern-day paranoia that’s seeped into our daily lives. Demonstrating the scarier aspects of a futuristic, high-tech world, Black Mirror plays to all our anxieties.

With each episode showcasing a brand new story, and each season having a new set of actors, it’ll be interesting to see who gets cast for the new season, which has not been given a release date yet.
Last season, which started streaming at the end of 2017, featured a number of familiar stars, including Jesse Plemons, Letitia Wright, and Cristin Milioti, and Jimmi Simpson.
Black Mirror originally aired on Britain’s Channel 4 network before it was moved to Netflix for Seasons 3 and 4.
