The Good Fight: 26 Characters from ‘The Good Wife’ We’d Love to See on the Spinoff
21. Robyn Burdine

Robyn Burdine is on this list for one simple reason: Justice for Robyn! The Good Wife introduced the quirky, fun and unique investigator and then she soon got lost in the shuffle during the legal drama’s sixth season.
Fans never got to see what happened to her and she deserves a chance on The Good Fight.
22. Peggy Byrne

Kristin Chenoweth joined The Good Wife during the fourth season as journalist Peggy Byrne. Unfortunately, the actress was injured on set and had to exit the series after appearing in a few episodes. The Good Fight could provide that opportunity.
Peggy was tough, bold and charming in a way that made her a fascinating antagonist. Of course, you should never miss an opportunity to have Chenoweth on your show, but Peggy was a character worth revisiting. The show could make use of a great journalist.
23. Gordon Higgs

During The Good Wife’s run Bob Balaban played Gordon Higgs, the show’s resident representative for the U.S. Treasury Department. He was a thorn in Diane and Alicia’s side when he appeared and, honestly, he seemed like a lifer. Odds are he’s still working at Treasury and it would be nice to see him again.
24. Natalie Flores

Natalie Flores was introduced as an obstacle in Peter’s journey to become the State’s Attorney again then The Good Wife surprised everyone by making her much more than that. A smart undocumented immigrant who worked as a day trader and created an impressive career for herself.
The Good Fight should have Natalie return off the strength of America Ferrera’s performance, but there’s more than that. Diane was impressed by Natalie and Marissa had some hysterical encounters with Marissa during Natalie’s relationship with her father Eli Gold. Just think of the scenes!
25. Charles Lester

Charles Lester was a dangerous and unassuming lawyer who worked for Lemond Bishop. A big part of the character was Alicia’s suspicion that he was threatening witnesses to keep his client out of trouble. If Charles Lester does appear on The Good Fight, then it should be for a rematch with Liz Lawrence.
Liz Lawrence is joining the series after one appearance on The Good Wife, which included her clash with Charles. While she may have been Alicia’s rival, it was Lester who allegedly wronged her and without Alicia around Liz should get the chance to take down the borderline criminal Lester.
26. Reese Dipple

Diane crossed paths with many characters on The Good Wife, but Oliver Platt’s Reese Dipple was her greatest scene partner. In fact, Christine Baranski has spoken fondly about their time together on the show.
Platt’s time on the series was cut short because of his commitment on Chicago Med, but an appearance on the streaming series spinoff could be a better fit. The new series centers on Diane, so it should include the best character she worked opposite.
