‘Scandal’ and ‘HTGAWM’ Crossover: 15 Things We Hope to See
9. Olivia and Annalise Bonding Over Their Psychopathic Dependents

Annalise has Frank while Olivia has Quinn and Huck. Although their dependents are pretty crazy, they both still love them (no matter what Annalise says, she still loves Frank, which is why she’s still so hurt everytime she sees him).
Picture them sitting by the fire, drinking hot cocoa, and laughing about the crazy situations their psychopathic babies have put them through… then tell me that wouldn’t be an awesome moment.
10. Olivia and Annalise Bonding Over Their Horrible Parents
For every big hero, there must be a parent death or a parent (or both parents) have to be so horrible that the protagonist wishes they were dead. Annalise has a dead-beat dad who was never there while Olivia has horrible parents, in general.
With Annalise mending fences with her father, maybe Olivia can do the same…after her father stops throwing his temper-tantrum that is.
11. Bonnie Meets Clay

I have no other wish for this except my burning desire to see an American Horror Story, Madison-Montgomery-like scene between the two: a soft glow behind Bonnie melts in her hair, almost creating a halo, as she turns around in a dark room, tilts her shoulder close to her mouth, and gives a wide smile before saying, “Surprise, bitch.”
12. Olivia and Annalise Share Insights
I’ve never seen a crossover that didn’t have the protagonists share insights that substantially help each other with moral issues and other life problems. The difference in their personalities and the similarities in their strengths and core values makes way for an amazing heart to heart moment between these two women.
13. Annalise’s Story Leaving the Door Open for More Crossovers

This Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder crossover will be epic. It already has the fans losing their minds, and I’m sure it creates a fun new dynamic for the writers of both shows. So why not make way for more crossovers?
Even though this is the last year of Scandal, Kerry Washington can easily guest star in another episode as Olivia, unless Olivia dies at the end of this season. *knocks on wood*
14. Annalise And/Or Olivia Leaving the Door Open for A Grey’s Anatomy Crossover
Just throwing this into the universe. A girl can dream, right?
15. DVD Version of this Crossover

If none or a few of these things happen, it wouldn’t be completely out of the realm of possibility if Rhimes made this crossover into a DVD with extra clips for scenes that wouldn’t naturally fit into the episode…like the hot cocoa bonding time or the Bonnie and Clay meeting.
When Deadline asked if the crossover would be self-contained and have lasting effects for both shows moving forward, Nowalk had this to say:
Yes, I think why we both agreed to do it, Shonda and I, is it fit into our longer arc. So it’s not like a procedural where it just stands alone and it has nothing to do with the rest of their arcs for the season. They’re actually both very pivotal to each other’s storylines.
